Default How does IDA 305 look installed

Hi,

Thinking to buy a IDA305 for the s2000, and I've only seen it in shops so far.. does that huge central knob look freaken huge and out of place??

Could those who have the deck take a couple installed picture and post them? Preferably not a SUPER close up shot.. with showing some of the Dashboard/IP would be cool.

Thank you!

Actually, I am not that entire sure nor happy with what IDA305 has...

The only thing I really liked about IDA305 is it's color LCD screen and it's clock. what a nice clock graphic!!

I'm actually looking for a Deck that has a clean face, large color screen, nice clock display. plays CD and has ipod connection.

(PS, i don't like Kenwood nor JVC decks. I do like Pioneers, but the OEL screen is ugly... )

Other than that... i'm open to suggestions hehehee. Price range would be around the same what IDA305 would cost.

You might want to start with features and specs rather than photos...

The IDA series is definitely not what you're looking for. Don't put the cart before the horse when shopping.

IDA series is the wrong head unit if you want to play CDs, these are all ipod/USB only

you can hookup a CD-changer if you really want CDs.

but for about the same price you can buy a very large capacity ipod, burn all your music in apple lossless, and have a virtual cd mega changer in your glovebox/secret compartment.

I after that thread was started have purchased and installed the X100 model instead... I will get pics up. But the knob does not look huge at all and operation of the unit is very easy when driving. Also the sound quality is great and the radio door closes without a problem

Ya.. i know.. CD isn't all necessary, but it's just at times I like to enjoy the CD that's fresh bought from a Record store..

Thanks for the picture, that looked GREAT!.

Fit in quite nicely!
