So I bought this Defi Field Compass HUD and want to have a clean install. Here is a link to the product:

I want to hardwire it instead of plugging it into the cigarette adapter thing. How do I go about doing this and what do I need?

Prolly run it to the fuse box on the side. Search for the Valentine1 hard wire guide. Should be the same.

 

Pm this guy on Beyond.ca. He is a certified installer and whom I purchased the HUD from.

He was willing to do the install for free.

I'm thinking you can either run it through the fuse box or wire it through the cigarette lighter.
