how to keep your controls with aftermarket HU

Sorry, I don't (can't) keep up with new head unit models as fast as they are released by the manufacturers. I'd love to have the time to do but travelling 3-4 days a week, a full time job, and making Modifry stuff on the weekends is about all I can handle.

But it's easy to check compatibility:

IR DCI - If the HU is one of the brands listed for the IR DCI and the HU is remote capable, then it's compatible.

Wired DCI - Check the "hands on research" section at Crutchfield and look for "steering wheel remote" compatibility. Also, anytime a web site or manufacturer's literature says the HU works with any of the PAC steering wheel interface products it will work with the DCI. Of course it works BETTER with the DCI.
