Default HU compatible with S2000 dash controls?

Do all head units require a separate interface (like the Modifry DCI) or are some head units compatible with the S2000 dash controls?

I did a bunch of searches before I posted this but I didn't see the FAQ sticky. It answers my question. Sorry!

This is correct. Many manufacturers offer their own version of a converter interface that allows for the retention of factory controls, however no HU is plug and play with the s2000.

The stock HU is entirely inadequate for anyone who has any affinity for music, so I am currently dealing with the very minor inconvenience of not having the dash controls.

the Eclipse CD3050 will allow the use of some dash controls without any aftermarket interface. You will have access to: Mode, Vol, and CH+ only.
