THose cars did ok... Two of them placed (top 2 or 3) but Ive never won. I dont compete myself because its too much time and money. Its a lot fof fun, but gets addicting, and expensive. How about you????

youre right, it is addicting. but i dont feel it is expensive. it does take up lots and lots of time when you are preparing, making changes, making sure everything is top notch for the fewest amount of point deductions.

in the end, it is all worth it if you win 1st place.

a few friends of mine talked me into competing, so that is how i got into it. i am also doing it to promote my speaker line.

I've been done to finals 3 times, 97, 99 and 00, best finish was 6th. Haven't competed in a long time, but did run the S through a USAC lane last summer taking first in the pro class.

what equipment are you running and how is it installed? USAC has weird scoring, i believe you have to have a kill switch of some sort otherwise you do not recieve maximum points. that killed USACi for me.

Follow the link in my sig. for the current setup in the S, poke around a bit on that site and you'll see some of my old cars and others that I had a hand in building... (The S never went to finals...)
