My friend bought a replacement remote for his Viper 350hv, does anyone know how to program the new remote?

ps: this is REprogramming a used remote, not a brand new one

 

As long as the system is fine and the remote is good...locate the push button valet switch. Make sure dome lights on car come on when key is on.

Key to the on position (all gauge cluster lights come on), press the valet button once, let it go and then hold it down. You will hear one chirp from the siren if the system is an alarm. After the chirp press the desired keypads lock button and you should get another chirp. Turn key off and you'll get a few chirps and a long chirp.

Thats it.

This is assuming all wiring for the brain is correct and all products are working.
