Clifford 5.1 goes 10 seconds after arming
I had Clifford 5.1 installed in my car at S2KI sponsor shop. The install experience was horrible with them even though they came highly recommended from this site. I am still debating whether to post further about my experience. Anyways, when I arm the alarm after driving; it will go off about 10 seconds of arming it. When I disarm the system and rearm it will not go off in 10 seconds. It will function properly. Is this a settings issue or an install problem? I don't want the installer to touch my car again. Any ideas?
Thanks!!!
Thanks!!!

hmm... is the timing exactly the same every single time? I'd say take it back and ask them even though u didn't have a good experience. You did still pay for it.
when you disarm your car how many chirps do you hear?? if your hearing 4 it's your shock sensor and it's set to high , if your hearing 3 they probably have something hooked up wrong. tell them they need to pulse the door trigger along with the lock output at the same time and diode isolate it (they'll know what i'm talking about)
Look in the install manual under the long term event history. It will show you the last several times the alarm was set off and what triggered it by way of led flashes.
Find out which zone is setting the alarm off and have it fixed.
Does the S's dome lights stay on for ten seconds after you get out of the car, not looking at mine right this second. If so, then the door trigger is backwards, meaning they used a positive when they should have used the negative (example only). The reason why it doesnt do it on rearm would be because the dome lights are already off by then and there is no voltage discrepancy for the alarm to see.
