Left of mirror, suction mount, and hardwired! Not to mention passengers do not bitch and moan about not getting to use sun visor !!
my setup is kinda stealthy. i have mine hardwired and mounted behind the windscreen. i then placed the remote display behind the A-pillar. i highly recommend the remote display!

I mount mine on the lower/center of the windshield so it can be removed easily. As for the wiring, I added an additional accessory outlet on the lower passenger center console (used this link as a guide S2000 additional accessory outlet
I also used the passenger visor with the clip turned around
Hardwired to the fuse box with the cord run through the hole where the visor peg inserts into the trim (have to enlarge the hold slightly).

Mounting on the visor is not a problem...
Place a piece of velcro on the visor and the mating velcro on the V1. Holds very securely. As for the curved part of the clip marring the windshield trim - that is taken care of with a 1" square piece of black hi-density foam tape applied to the trim. This is the highest mounting location possible in the S and it does not move or vibrate at all. Hardwired with the remote behind he A pillar it is very stealth.
