I have a CRAZY problem, Junkies-HELP
I got a USED "S" and the only thing wrong was the CD player (OEM). The owner noted that the CD didn't work after the system was de-intalled and OEM placed back in. So I figured the OEM unit is fried. I stuck in an aftermarket unit w/ different amps. AND THE SAME THING happened, no Audio from the CD?!
Here is the low down. FM and AM works TERRIFIC. Put a CD in and no sounds comes out, of the OEM unit an aftermarket unit.
Using 2 amps, and 2 RCA. What's gives??
If I'm using RCA/AMP and the radio works... why wouldn't the CD give me sounds??

Wow that's a weird one... I'm gonna have to think about that one.
I would say to try the stock HU in another S just to see if its toast but since you tried and aftermarket head in the car it must have something to do with the car.

Yeah that's right.
HU to RCA's to Amp to speaker wire from the amp to the stock speaker wire or new wiring. But it doesn't sound like a wiring issue so much because you said that the radio works fine.

Power Ant. Lead must be on Accessory Power. I think I went wrong there. The AMP shuts off on CD mode.
I'll fill you guys in a few days..

if youre connecting your OEM radio, connect it to the ignition/accessory wire. i am assuming you have a OEM harness adapter, just follow the red wire coming out of the harness to the factory side of the plug and viola. i would also suggest using a DMM to test it just to make sure you have the right wire.
