Thanks
Chris.
I'm finding that one either needs a new head unit like an Alpine or Clarion with their "adapter" or this Hon/PIE adapter that has various models that work with various cars and year of car. For instance, I have a 2003 S and the PIE adapter (that will allow me to control the iPod from my Honda Head unit) will not be out for another month. There is an adapter that will connect the two but then I have to control the iPod instead. It will just play through the Car stereo without FM or radio transmission. Don't get the iTrip...it was nice for a little while but the sound quality is very staticy because of the radio signals it takes. Go to Logjamelectronics...they have all the info. Very nice in helping me "understand" via several emails.
Chris,
I recently did this using the Hon-Aux from Logjam Electronics. Cost me 50 bucks and was super easy to install. I don't mind controlling everything from the ipod, i don't find it to be that big of a deal. And the sound quality is great. PM me if you need more info.
