I've just installed this combo in my S and I can't figure out how to get it working reliably.

I once managed to get the HU to recognise that the 400BT was there, but as soon as I disconnected the 400BT to tidy up the wires and then re-connected it, the HU doesn't see it any more.
So, pulled it all out and checked the wiring, no problems. Tried again, no joy.

I can't get in to the Bluetooth menu on the HU any more.
Aux+ is off as well as Interrupt.
Oddly, my phone can see the module so it's getting power. Can't pair though as the HU thinks it's not there.

I've tried resetting the headunit with the little pokey button thing on the front but no difference. Oddly though, some of my settings seem to be retained when I do the reset. Am I doing it right (Ignition off, poke button for 2 secs)?

 

OK, update.
If I reset the HU, the BT module will work until I switch off the ignition. When I turn it back on again, the HU will be back to not detecting the BT module.
