Default idea needed: resonsablely priced 2 channel amp

can you guys give me some idea on the subject?

I only need something 2 channels and it will need to sit behind the passenger back inside the cabin. Budget is limited but will see what's my options.

ATM i have a sony xplod amp, with all the monster wires and cable running inside the interior trims. Needless to say the amp not impressive other than getting the volume up.

thanks audio gurus!

Well, I cant say if it is good or not, as I have ordered one, and currently waiting for it to arrive at a PObox for me to pick-up. But it is from an excellent brand, and it is VERY small. I plan to use it as a subwoofer amp (180wattsRMS 1-channel @ 4ohms) but it does work as a 2 channel amp @ 90wattsRMS@2ohm. As soon as I have it installed, I will be posting a review on it. (give me 1 month).

Price seemed cheap to me, but I live in Canada, and they sell for 420 bucks here.

here is the link.

What kind of power you need? what kind of price?

The arc minis were a close runner up for my amp purchase. But the price was ALOT more then the MBquart Rab250. And there was roughly 1.5" difference in size.

holy sh*t.. 300?? for the mini?.. hmm.. i thought they were cheaper.

I bought my Arc Audio FD4150 for 250.. used of course.

shop around is my best suggestion. and don't be afraid of lightly used ones.

Also what is your power requirement? what are you trying to run with the 2 channel?

I used a Profile (mfg) amp. It's their California series. Chose it for size/price. Thin enough to hide, good price, and the sound quality is good enough for a convertible. A local stereo shop tuned the system when done, and they were pleasantly surprised w/the sound quality. FWIW, I have an Alpine HU, with Polk Audios in the doors, and a JVC powered subwoofer under the drivers seat..
