Infinity Int. Speakers
although i don't have kappas now, the ones i had in the past were decent if you power them with a good amp. they can be a bit on the "bright" side. if this bothers you, try looking for a tweeter made of silk.
I had Infinity Kappa 63.3i's in my doors but eventually the tweeters on both speakers burned out. You could see the metal surface on the tweeters turn black and crack. I switched to JL Audio 6.5" components (about $100 more) but well worth the price. They sound a lot better then the Infinity's. The Infinity's sounded great but just couldn't handle the power I was putting to them.

I got the alpine amp yesterday, and it definitely cleaned things up, but still something does not seem right. Maybe it is the tweeters in the a-pillar which is a no-no, well I tried it anyway. The highs still seem harsh, but much crisper and with less distortion. The 8
