I have Kappa Perfect in the doors. It is very good for what I paid, $200 a year ago. Recommended by NFRs200NYC.

Were any mods required to get them to fit? I could not install them into another car because of their depth.

Thanks.

they're too bright for me and my tastes, but i cannot deny that they are a clean sounding speaker w/ solid sound quality. imo, a very nice upgrade from anything MB Quart. the Perfects were easily in my top 5 when i was shopping...

you may need a spacer to get them from being too deep. but many people have them installed here, and have no problems. hopefully Dave (NFR) will jump in here soon...

Perfects!!?? They suck. Id never put them in my own car.

Juuuuuust kidding, for the money, I think they are one of the nicest speakers you can buy. Their construction is very good, sound is great (although on the bright side, this must be your thing for you to like them,) and have great customer service (the parts dept. for Infinity USA in in NYC)

I highly recommend them.

I have a infinity kappa perfect 6.1 component set I am selling if anyone is interested... I used them in my scion for about 3 months, and sold the car and took my stereo out. I decided not to mod the s2000 stereo (yet), and could use the money right now... Tweeters, woofers, and x overs are all in like new condition, in original box... If anyone is interested in them, pm me.

A small side question.
My perfects have been in about a year now, and the x-overs are in the door. But they keep making all sorts of noise no matter how much I secure them, plus my door panel keeps coming loose, so I'm gonna move. Where do you all who have them have them mounted?

When I had them in my Scion, I had them in the dash, but thats not really an option with the s... I dont remember if there would be enough room underneath the head unit?? Maybe on the sides behind those little triangular leather inserts that are held in with one screw?? I would try and see if I could fit them there if it were me, but then again, you have to fish another wire through the door harness to do it that way...
