Default Infinity Perfect 6.1 ---> Lowest price?

Who here can find me the best deal on Infinity Perfect 6.1s? I've seen them listed for low as $200 and high as $400. I live in Canada so I want a seller who isn't going to charge me an arm and a leg for shipping like some ebayers do.

One other thing.... I drive an MY00 so I don't have tweeter pods. Where would be the best location to mount the tweeters?

Any help is appreciated!

Wow. That Wholesale Matrix place is cheap. Too bad they won't deal with Canadians. The Discount Jungle looks like they'll deal with Canadians, but their web site isn't exactly Canadian friendly when it comes to putting in an order, and they say they use UPS as their shipper. I would AVOID using UPS at all costs. They also won't take a Canadian credit card either. That's pretty inconvenient.

MIC, you should call them up and ask if they would ship it to Canada using United States Postal Service. A lot of US vendors I've dealt with will make exceptions for Canadian customers because UPS is such a ripoff when it comes to customs brokering.

I just checked eBay, and saw only one eBay store pop up, IndoAudio - $229 USD. I actually just used these guys to get a pair of Focal Utopias. The guys running this place are a pair of brothers living in California who originally lived in Edmonton, Alberta. Overall, they are OK to deal with. They answer all your questions pretty quickly, and have a phone number where you can call them up at. They aren't exactly honest when it comes to what they actually have in inventory versus what they have to order out to their suppliers for, but they will eventually come through on whatever it is you ordered. It took me 6 weeks to get my Focals. But, hey, I saved over $1000 CDN on a single pair of speakers. If they have the item in stock, they do ship fast.

Indo Audio - Kappa Perfect 6.1

They charged $39 US for shipping via FedEx (5 to 7 days). They also declared the speakers to customs as having a really low value, and I ended up not paying anything in duty or FedEx brokerage fees. That little trick doesn't usually work with Canadian Customs, but this time it did.

Like the Discount Jungle, Indo wouldn't take a Canadian credit card, so I paid with a money order from my bank. I had it couriered down to them using a pre-paid XpressPost envelope from Canada Post ($8.95 I think?). After losing a money order in the regular mail when I bought my seat locks, I only send out money orders using an online-trackable courier now. And that service only take 3 to 5 business days. So that and the money order added about $15 CDN more to the price.

Maybe not exactly the answer you were looking for, but I hope my experiences might help. Living in Canada can be a little frustrating when trying to deal with vendors in the US. But we make up for it in other ways.

Chris.

Sorry, I did not know that Wholesale Matrix do not deal with Canadians. Why is that some vendors do not like to deal with anyone ouside US ?

I bought Memphis Amp from Indo Audio, they have a warehouse in Irvine, CA. I went there to look at the amp and bought it on the spot without paying sale tax or shipping. I took a peep inside their warehouse, there were a lot of audio gears stacked on many shelfs.
