Infinity Perfect 6.5 installation help please!
I just got done wiring up my Modifry Wired DCI to my alpine 9857 headunit and everything works flawlessly, i have yet to install the SCV feature but i will do that tommorow.
Now to the main point. I will be replacing my stock speakers soon with some infinity Kappa 6.5 Perfect Component set on my 01.
I was wondering if I could continue using my stock wiring from the OEM speakers or do i have to run new wires from the headunit into the door, which i know is a PITA!

A couple of words of advice from an Infinity Perfect 6.1 Owner:
1. You will want an amp. Those speakers sound TERRIBLE without an amp. I had mine hooked up only to my Pioneer 7800 and the sound was aweful. After the amp, they are some of the best speakers I have heard (especially for the price.)
2. You will probably want to dynomat your doors if you do get an amp. I only got the dynamat speaker kit, and I regret it. The doors rattle like crazy with any music with a good amount of bass. Believe it or not, those 6.5's hit pretty hard with the JL 300/2 I have.
Good luck! You will be extremely please at how much better it will sound than stock if you get a decent amp!

Hey darknight since i'm doing my DCI scv feature right now with the blasted panel already off i was wondering if i could do the one click ebrake softtop bypass also?
I was planning to pull the connector for the black/white speed sensor wire and pry that open to remove the speed sensor wire so i can operate the top with one click. Now where do i wire the DCI grey wire to?
Do i just connect Grey DCI sensor wire into Black/white speed sensor wire or do i have to wire they grey DCI wire into the connector and just leave the black/white wire hanging?
