Infinity Perfect 6.5 installation help please!

You have to connect the DCI grey wire to the wire you'll be removing from the connector at the roof control module. Remember, the wire that arrives at the module is carrying your speed info. Once you've removed this wire from the connector or cut it, the module has no speed data, so in order for your DCI to get that speed info you must connect to the wire that's coming from the "loom" or bunch of wires coming from the car.

In other words, your DCI wire will have no connection to the top controller or to the wire remaining after you've cut the wire going into the top controller that relates speed to the controller.

ok to make things clear for me and as a future reference for anyone doing this job where do I cut to make the top one click bypass feature and SCV work?

cut at 1 or 2?

If I was you. I would go with the Infinity Reference Components if you are going to run them off the deck. I had a Alpine 9833 going to the 6.5" references and they sounded great. Taper off the bass a bit if you have a sub, but if not they sounded great with bass too.
