Well here they are. These CDT's are very nice, surprised the about the output, they go lower than my Utopia's did with no hesitation. Very very satisifed with these speakers. The amps LCD read out is amazing, I just need to tilt it up a bit so you can see it, right now you have to get at eye level with it to see it.
Check out that voltage!!
All I need now is to finish my box for the SEAS Lotus. Next couple days . . . .
I still have to play around out with the tuning, but they sound pretty damm good with out messing with the EQ. I got them right now crossed over at 63 HZ, and the put out some nice mid bass, like I said better and lower than the Utopias I had before.
Purty. I will be getting one of those amps for x-mas. I want that kind of rack too, but with the amp slid as far left as possible, as I still want the spare. I wonder if that is possible? Maybe have to hinge the rack on the bottom for access to the spare?
Did you take your spare tire out? I'm thinking of doing that for a friend's S2000 and leave an amp in there, but have a plexiglass window to show it. Basically an amp will be in an enclosure where the spare tire sits.
Let us know how the whole system sounds like. It's nice to see cars with speed, looks, and sound
The spare tire is out, i mounted my cross overs on a small board in there, too bad no one can see it. I am thinking about taking it all out and making the hole where the amp is a bit bigger. This way I can have the amp angled up instead of down, so you can actually see the lcd display read out. Might try that tommorow.
Your pics are as usefull as a poopie flavored lollipop.
Just kidding.....everything looks great. Im still waiting on your inevitable comparison on the Alpha sub vs the SEAS. Ive never heard the SEAS, and would love to hear a good review.
How is that Alpine amp working for ya? Ive always loved them (the older models, the ones John has) just want to make sure they didnt go down the tubes like so many other companies today.
