ok so got my alarm all hooked up, the only problem we had was the passenger door unlock. 2 different sources had the same info on the wiring, the pink/blue wire is for the passenger door unlock trigger. we hooked it up and it poped the fuse. When looking at it with the voltaage meter when you send the signal to unlock the passenger door it gets a 10v spike on that line which is blowing the fuse. i assume theres a way to get this to work, anybody whos installed an alarm have any tips?

The door locks are negative pulse at the pink/Blue - are you hitting them with a 12VDC pulse instead?

 

accoring to the manual it says there on a positive lead, ill ask him how he wired it, the manual has a + under each of the door lock wiring so i assume he may have had them to the positive.

 

Inside the door they are positive, but I am pretty sure the trigger wire going to the relay is negative pulse.

 

Here's some detailed stuff for you... I hope your somewhat good with alarms because 5wire can be confusing for osme people...


The keyless door lock control unit is located in the driver kick behind the start button.
Wire color - What polarity - Where it's located
