Wink Installed Parrot MKi9200

Decided I'd share how this handsfree bluetooth/music player works with all of you that are interested in keeping the factory setup and radio and still have the latest and greatest.

Now when I walk into the car with my iPhone 4 bluetooth ON it automatically syncs to the system and I can talk or listen to my music on my phone wirelessly! It also comes with different plugs for direct iPod connect to show album artwork as well as usb and line in plugs. Works with other phones as well as I tried it out. The controller that comes with it controls all the functions and using voice recognition to call people worked flawlessly (and I'm asian, without accent though =D - so your results will vary). If you press the pause button it will automatically switch control back to the dash controls in the s2k.

If you guys are interested in a simple and discrete solution that looks awesome, this is the unit to purchase for our S. I'm leaving work at 12 and will have my top down to test the noise cancelling calls then, so I'll leave my feedback for that. As far as the top up, everybody I spoke with said I was crystal clear. Let me know if you have any other questions, thought I'd share my experience with this as no one has the new Parrot systems.

Installation: Easy
Mounting Hardware: Excellent
Audio: Just like factory
Voice Calls: No complaints yet
LCD Screen: Crisp and clear
System Integration: Almost completely discrete
Retains factory dash functions
Pics to come!
(No I do not work or am sponsored by Parrot in any way)

Where did you mount the LCD display and micophone? Also did you use the yellow mute wire?

I installed my Parrot Mki9200 today, but I can stream music through bluetooth with my Iphone. Everthing else works great, able to talk hands free with the top down.

Post pictures if you have any.

MKi9100 has blue OLED screen in 2 lines while the MKi9200 has 2.4" color TFT screen.

I like Mki9200 better, but they are almost the same.

I have this fitted in my S, it came with the car when I bought it.
I agree, it's an awesome bit of kit.

Installed my parrot mki9200 with sot lead sot-071 from dynamic sounds cost £7.95. It is an awesome bit of kit microphone on steering column, led display righhand corner of dash snug up to windscreen, remote below fog light button, usb into cup holder. It took me 2 hours all you do is plug and play, I had to switch my ignition live and battery live around but a simple twist on the leads and it's done. The speakers seem to have more power and get ready with the top down at motorway speeds I had a conversation no problem. If you start to hit 80 and over then the person on the other end can hear a bit of noise but I could still be heard clearly. Well worth the money.
