Hi all,

I have a Sony BT2700 head unit that I have tryed to install but failed miserably.

I took out the OEM unit and found the Aerial, CD changer and a blue rectange connected to it.

Now the Sony unit does not have a port for the CD changer, thats fine I can do without. But there was no way to connect the blue part at all (the Sony port is too large.) There are no other connectors or adaptors in the box so I am at a loss.

What do I need to install this!? It was installed in a Vectra before this and in connected straight in.

Any advice is very much appreciated, I am not so good with the ICE stuff! I am in work so I have no pictures at the moment.

Sounds like you are missing the adapator.

Can be bought at walmart. Splice the wires together, then the other end plugs into the stock s2000 connector.

 

Yeah, you need an adapter. As stated, Walmart or a Best Buy should have it.

 

Got the connector from my local motor shop, got the job done! Thanks for the advice!
