Which interconnects?
I went with KnuKonceptz 4 ga Amp Kit (significant savings over Monster and at least same quality) and the 16 ga Karma Speaker Wire (again, great savings over Monster). Went with the 5M Monster 401xln interconnects vs. the Karma Kables only because I found them on eBay brand new for $35 shipped, otherwise I would have bought the Karma's. Running high quality 150 X 2 @ 4 ohm to Infinity Perfects and the amp kit and the 16 ga Karma Speaker Wire perform great. You won't be dissatisfied with the performance and you will save $$($).
Thanks everyone for your valuable input. Sounds like I can't go wrong w/ virtually any of the choices I listed (all use twisted pair cables). Since they're all twisted pair, I don't know what design differences there are between the mid-line and high-end models, so that would be interesting to know.
Darkknight1999: Have you had a chance to look at Streetwires and Lightning Audio mid- and high-end interconnects? If so, what is your impression of them relative to Monster and Stinger?
Thanks.

I honestly haven't... well I have but not in the way your talking about. Streetwires make 'some' nicer stuff.
The biggest things to look for:
Twisted pair cable
A good shield
Strong gold or silver plated terminal ends
As a side note(this really isn't for your benefit but more for others that read this.., none of this will matter much if you have crappy equipment.
Crap in = crap out
Basically if your equipment sucks, you could have the best interconnects know to man and its not going to fix the crappy signal you'd be dealing with.
I will be ordering some cabling products from KNU just to check them out. I sent them an email yesterday so we'll see what happens.

The thing that sucks is, the ones Jim an I have, are no longer made for some reason. Their home RCAs seem great, but I am not sure if 2 meters, even if run down the center console, will reach the spare tire. Maybe we can as them to make a 4 meter if we get enough people interested.
the real question that this thread brings up is this...
does mane really know what the best interconnects are? and why should i believe mane?
(ok, 2 questions...
)
(btw, i will no longer put a single Monster product in my car, home, etc. simply due to their recent batch of litigation.)
