I like the door handle LED's.... Convenient.

My harness looks a lot like his, but I had to wire mine in parallel, as the guy who sold the LED's told me they would not work in series.... Looks like his is wired in series... I just ran 4 wiring branches, and twisted them all up with a drill (close one end of the harness in a door, and spin the other with a drill, and it cleans thing up nicely).

Where did you get those LED's? I was looking for some wider-view ones, but could not find anything that I trusted (never heard of anyone saying that they actually worked)...

you can get LED's at radio shack :-) 680 ohms resitor... you can run LEDs in series but they have to be independently resisted

Not at my radioshack. They do not have crap in the way of LED's... Store manager said all their regional stores have shifted away from LED's, as they are not a very popular item. Only LED they had in stock was one that would be used for something like an alarm "arm" light...

sry for the late response.. was out of town over the weekend..

I can make up a few more of these kits, depending on the interest.. The foot well lights are fairly easy to install. The door handle ones are bit more involved. cutting/drilling a hole for the light to show through and running wires through the rubber 'accordion' boot..

Well actually each side, driver and passenger, i have separate runs. So if something goes wrong the not everything goes out. I have each foot-well run in series with a resistor then the two sides are wired in parallel to the power source.

Yeah radio shack has a poor selection of LED's I ordered some LEDs from superbrightleds.com they have a decent selection of LEDs and LED products for your car.. Once i figured out what i was going to use i ordered in bulk from Digi Key along with the AMP connectors and pins..
