iPhone + Alpine?

To sum it up, the iphone will have FULL functionality only with the IDA series of the alpine decks. Any original alpine CDA, or CDE series will not function properly with the iphone.
ipods will function with any alpine deck.

I have an iPhone 3g and an alpine ida-x001. They work together perfectly. When a call comes in, the music pauses and the phone rings. it resumes playing after the call is over. You can also use the speaker mode and talk through the car speakers via the phone mic.

From what I read, it is best to use the iDA-X100 with the USB cable that comes with the head unit (not the USB cable that comes with the iPhone).
