Default iPhone bluetooth USB to headunit possible?

Is it possible or does such a thing exist where I can plug in a micro USB bluetooth adapter to my headunit, and stream music from my iPhone? I would love to get rid of the USB wire because I have my phone mounted on the left side of the windshield. Please help me out!

I doubt any decks will do that. USB wire for decks are usually just searching for a external storage, would not know what to do with a Bluetooth receiver.

Companies make money providing a propriety Bluetooth receiver if your deck supports it that hooks up via the rear.

I would just route the wire behind the dash and come out the A-pillar. Least you can still charge it.

Nope. You'd need a head unit with bluetooth (or add on bluetooth in cases like some Alpines) or an aftermarket bluetooth kit.

This...

The following two devices would do the trick for you.

thanks for your replies, I really did not want to purchase another head unit and was just curious if there was a cheaper solution, but I guess I will have to live with the wire for now.
