Default Ipod cable ideas ideas.

Hey guys. Another question for you. My car has an Alpine CDA 9835, and i want to hook up my ipod to it. I have this cable

I need ideas on how to run it, the stereo controls on the side of the steering wheel do not work with the radio. Do i need to buy extra hardware? or simply there is something not connected?? Help, as i would like to do it this weekend. Thanks.

You'll need a DCI unit (I like Modifry's) unless your install has one that is just disconnected.

If you search around you'll see photos many of us posted on how we ran the iPod cable. It can be run under the between-seat console cover, all the way back to the secret compartment or glove bax.

Looking into an Alpine setup myself:

http://modifry.com/products/dci/index.htm

Will definitely pick that interface up.
