Help installing ipod please
i just bought a kca-121b versatile like audi adapter and have no idea how to install it. i dont know how to take the head unit out ( alpine 9851) and dont know where the wire from the deck to the ipod will be ran. also, is there a way to charge the ipod using this setup. i heard about a belkin something or another. thanks.

You can have it installed at a shop.
You can get someone who knows what they are doing to install it (there is plenty of information on this forum on how to remove the radio if you search- that would be assuming you own an S2000 -- do you?).

Never mind, I guess you mean Versatile-Link Audio Adaptor.
That unit will not charge your ipod. To use that cable and to charge, you would need a 12 volt car charger cable for the ipod. You could then cut off the plug, hard wire and fuse it into the car's wiring.
On quick research, it appears that this adaptor does work with your CDA-9851. Look in your owner's manual. It tells you how to hook up this cable and to enable the AUX input on the head unit.
