The problem is that they never work. There are hard-wiring options availible for stock unit that work well. On my EP3 I used a unit called DICE (I think). Aftermarket ipod hardwiring is even easier.

your wasting your money on those FM transmitter. The only way they will work probably if you live in the country or the area you live in isn't overpopulated by radio signals!

One thing I noticed with FM transmitters is the reception improves when the module is up high, like in the secret compartment, where it has a better angle at the antenna. Also, you need weak channels, not static channels - some static channels are very strong so you won't get good sound while some clear channels are weak enough you can overpower them.

But hard wiring is your best bet for good, reliable sound.

EP3 = 2002-2005 Civic Si

What I mean by hard-wiring is using the CD changer input on the back of your factory stereo. There are a few companys who make a kit that plugs into this port and they have a headphone jack on the other side.

I hope this helps!

Try this link to Mp3YourCar. They even have a video demonstrating how to install it in the S2000! Looks pretty straight forward but I can't vouch for it one way or another.

I know Fry's Electronics and Crutchfield sells something similar to it called a Peripheral iPod Adapter. Both units are "hard wired" by simply pluging their unit into the CD changer port in the back of the OEM Honda stereo.

If you get either one of these, please post your review for the rest of us.
