Default iPOD Install on Alpine 9811

Hello all, after doing some searches I understand that I have the option of the new Ai Net interface or just a line in through the CD changer on my Alpine HU. I've decided that I'd rather choose songs on the iPOD itself instead of the clumsy interface that the Ai Net box creates on the HU itself.

So now my question is what cables do I need to connect it? I'm going to buy the Belkin car charger with the line out function but I need to know which stereo to RCA cable I should use and which cable I need that goes from the CD changer in to female RCAs.

Lastly I'd like to see where you guys mounted your iPODs. The threads I found on search didn't have many pictures.

Thanks

You'll need alpine's input found on their site or on crutchfield.com - the kca121 or something like that, not the 420.

then you just need an RCA stereo to 1/8" mini cable.

I have the belkin and the monster ULPCC - the line out, without amp, on the monster provides cleaner sound than the belkin with the amp.

There are three threads on the first page of this forum (my option shows the max number of topics per page) that talk about ipods and installation and they all have photos...scratch that - 7 - I know three have photos.
