XM - MyFi Mounting?

Default XM - MyFi Mounting?

i got a great deal on this thing since i sell it payed 30 bucks for a 350 unit but its pretty rad came with the home and car kit and its also portable but heres the question..i sat down in the s2k and man..i couldn't think of anywhere to mount it I do'nt want it to look ghetto i mean i could go get the XM Direct for my Alpine deck but since i got this whats my best option?

Hi here is the link to my photo gallery. Check out how Imounted the XM control. I used a mount from Crutchfiled attached the the plastic piece to the right ogf the HU.

It is also good for a cell phone or a nav unit. I took power from the old radio supply wire under the dash as I didn't like running the power from the accessory socket between the seats.

Yeah, that or you can use a gooseneck for even more positioning options.

I have two devices mounted on an arkon.com gooseneck that bolts to the passenger seat (no drilling).

k that gave me a good idea i might see what i can do with the passanger side i can splice the car adapter and hardline that into a 12v source right shouldn't make a difference if its the car or home adapter right?

I'm using this method for the power. I have the house power so I only needed this for the S.

After I did this, I just found a place under the dash, zip tied it in. I mounted on the drivers side air vent(with supplied mount), ran the power/Antenna out of the vent also and heat shrunk a little around those two wires to keep em tight. So I slide the unit on the mount, two wires in their respective holes.... and Bob's yer Uncle.
