Default IPOD integration in truck.

I bought an IPOD integration kit and would like to install it in my trunk, but the cd changer connector in the truck is a male connector. Since the IPOD integration is also a male connector, it is not going to work. Any suggestion?

Is there such thing as a male->female converter for the cd changer connector in the trunk? Help.

I think I provided enough info ...you may have not understood my thread. I have OEM deck and I am not installing a CD-changer. I just want to plug an IPOD integration (which I haven't bought yet) into the plug where you would pluggin a OEM cd-changer in the trunk. Please reread.
I still need help.

No...you didn't provide enough info....what kind of truck???...Nissan, Yota, GMC, Ford???

I put one in my Chev...Crewcab...02....went in without a hitch.

Most of these devices are installed up front by the head unit and not in the trunk or under the seat where the changer actually is.

Also what kind of iPod integration...ie: Brand.

More info...=...more help

Actually, the only truck I know of with a trunk is the Honda Ridgeline. Is that what you have?

Regardless, I would think that the cable you get needs to be plugged in to the back of the head unit and run to the trunk but that may be a really long way in a Ridgeline. Why wouldn't you just keep the ipod in the cab somewhere like in the glove box?

I'm thinking 'truck' was a typo for trunk.

If Backspin23 gets it...so should u. If I wanted to ask about something else other than an s2000...wouldn't i be clear about that?

anyways..bottom line is...how to you connect when it's male to male? Is there a converter that i can get to make it work?

oem cd changer plug in trunk (male) <-> ipod integration plug (male)
