Would our S be fine with the stock alternator? Also, would 4 gauge power wire be fine?

JL recommneds 2 or 0 gauge with 2 amps.

These would be fine with the stock alternator for sure. You could even get away with the 500/1. Also the JL 2 amp kit comes with 4 gauge wire and a distribution block so I really do think that 2 gauge would be overkill. 2 gauge is really not necessary for anything less than 1000w RMS. These are both great amps by the way! Which speakers and sub were you thinking?
