Im in between them 2. I'm getting my stuff little by little. I already have the HU (alp 9857) modifry wired and the ipod full speed. havnt install it yet. my next thing is the speakers. also, do I really need an amp for the components or will the HU has enough to make em sound good?

after that is the amp for a JL w3 sub, JL 250/1 or 300/4, depending on if I need an amp for the speakers or not. and as far as the sub, what's this 2 or 4 ohms?

 

The Perfects are better than the VRs. If you want JL, get the XRs....(but IMHO, the Perfects are still better. My best friend has them in his RSX)

However, none of them will work without an amp.
