KD-NX5000 PROBLEM...

Default KD-NX5000 PROBLEM...

I JUST INSTALLED THE JVC UNIT IN MY CAR AND WHENEVER I GO OVER 50MPH THE GPS LOSES CONNECTION. I TAPPED INTO THE SPEED SENSOR CORRECTLY AND I CALIBRATED THE NAVI SO I AM STUCK ON THIS PROBLEM. ANYONE PLEASE HELP CAUSE I AM HURTING...ANYWAYZ THE SPEED SENSOR READING ON THE UNIT READS 4-5 TIMES HIGHER THAN I AM GOING..ANYWAYZ THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR ANYONES HELP!

First, turn off caps lock please. No need to yell. Second, Im pretty sure you tapped the wrong wire for your speed sensor. What wire did you tap?

You should probably tap into the speed sensor at the same place where the DCI connects (at the convertible top module). The raw speed sensor signal is disgustingly fast on the S2000, which is one reason Honda runs it through the speedometer (where it's altered) and a slower signal goes out to the rest of the electronics in the car (power steering, conv. top).

Read the instructions for the SCV install in my DCI manual and then connect your speed wire to the same place.
