Sorry, I have been trying to add pics, but still a newbee, and cant get it to go,
that is what I have done, the only difference is that I have to remove sub to release enclosure.

where did you get the button snap
i am looking for something like that

personally i would have just carpeted the box...
once its carpeted it wont rub the tape away like that.. if anything just tape it again

well i got them from homedepot. and i will carpet it as soon as i can find some carpet that matches. Would you know where to find it?

Here's the sub box that I built, same idea but I used fiberglass it fits quite good on its own.

I got it at a local stereo store, the match is very close, not perfect but very close, what you dont see is the 15 hrs. to put together a 1 sq. ft box. I have already made two more for my buddies.
