Well i got some carpet at 'underground audio' and i got some carpet for $5 nifty huh!

But like William said you don't have 1cf there. I just don't see how. I'd also be very surprized if you had anything more than .5 CF.

Still its a nice tight fit.

You both are correct I would be lucky if it gets close to .5, I wanted to buy one of WLaurents enclosures, spent two weeks on the net and couldnt find who was making them, so I decided to build one myself. The reference was for such as small box it took a while to build.

 

yea i'm getting a Kicker really soon i think so this was all for practice i guess. i think i'm going to go the fiberglass route this time.

I'm thinking of doing something like this
