Has anyone used the CarPortal unit?

I'm debating it.
How hard would it be to mount the 7inch screen where the stock HU is?
Before anyone starts flaming, I've read about every "Is there any Nav unit that can be placed in the stock location" I'm aware of the dash cutter club, as well as the double din units having to move the SRS box. Seen the Carputer molded mount, etc.

Basically I've lurked on most of this forum

No where did I see the carportal system.
Although somewhat expensive (about 1300 total considering the 'extra's') I think it would work, either with the 4.3" screen + Modfry mount, or with a custom mounting solution removing the stock HU, and door, and mounting on an angle.

Also, does anyone have any experence with the Pioneer F500BT
I seen one guy use it in the pass side visor.
