Hi guys - Just checking if anyone else is using this head unit in their S?
I'm struggling with it a little at the moment, and the manual isn't that great.

Is there any way to change the channel on the radio station without having to go in to the 'preset list' and then scroll throguh the list of stations I have pre-set? I'll crash the car if I look at it for that long!! I've got it connected up the the dash controls too, but when i press the 'CH' button on the car, the stereo just searches for the next available station (even though it may not be one of my presets). Am I doing something wrong with it?

Also, when I start the car, there is no light comign from the head unit whatsoever - is there a way to get the display to stay on all of the time (like a clock mode) and to get the power button permenently lit? It's not the easiest to try and find in the dark!!

Thanks guys,
Andy

I have a KIV-701 which looks a bit similar. There's a setting in one of the menus that sets the seek mode for the radio -- either it looks for the next available station or it jumps to the next preset depending on the mode.

Hey Andy

Where did you get the connector for this system so that the dash controls work? I'm looking at the same one for mine.

Thanks.
