I purchased a Kenwood MP919 w/PAC SWI-X from Lucid, and it has been nothing but awesome for me. Installation was pretty easy. The hardest part of the installation was physically putting the head unit into the cavity because the PAC unit introduces a lot more wiring, plus my Monster 401XLN4 RCA cable was pretty stiff. Anyway, my sound clarity improved a lot (No more RCA converter, 4.5v preout, new Monster Cable), and MP3 playback is better than what I initially thought. In the QuickTime file (that Lucid posted), there is a 2 seconds delay between songs, but that delay is due to the actual file, not the head unit. MP3 playback is identical to regular CD playback! If anyone is looking for a solid MP3 head unit, this head unit is it. Before I end this post, I would like to thank Lucid for everything. He was prompt with email replies and hooked it up with free 3 days select shipping among other things. You could probably get the head unit for a little cheaper elsewhere, but if you calculate the discount on the PAC SWI-X and the awesome customer service, Lucid clearly comes out a winner. Plus, I would hate to wait for 2 different shipments.
