Default Key and Remote Question 2003 S2000

Hello all,
I've just recently taken delivery on a 2003 S2000. I was only given one master key so I was wondering if it's possible to order additional keys (I do not have the key number plate). Also, does the S2000 come with the keyless remote as a standard feature? If it does, can I stop by a dealer and get replacement remotes?

Thanks,
Alone2Gether

btw...this car is a blast to drive!

yes, you can get replacement remotes and keys........but you also will have to program them to work with the ecu. If you bought the car from the dealer they should give you spares. Its usually about 100 bucks to program everything and extra for the key(s).

good luck!

I have no idea what the old honda keys look like. I know that the S2000 keys have the electronic circuits inside of them.

I just want to make sure that the keyless entry is a standard feature on the S2000 because I'm just going to order the remotes online instead of through the dealership in order to save money.

Hi there, I realize this thread is almost three years old but I'm a newbie... I just got my 2003 S delivered LAST NIGHT! WOOOT! I also just have one of the original single keys.

Through some quick research I found this: https://www.ikeyless.com/vehicles/Ho.../2003/1000680/

Unfortunately the photo is small and not too interactive so I really can't tell how good of a quality this is and I'd prefer black BUT... I figured I share anyway just in case you're still having a blast taking turns in your S and want to consider this.

That key looks kinda cheap, idk but i'd rather have the regular s2k key and the FOB. i actually like that it isnt all in one, since all cars nowadays have the all in 1 i feel like it gives the S character
OT: i only have one master key and no FOB, the dealer sells the FOB with installation included for $150 i think i'll just order one of these instead S2k keyless entry courtesy of Ebay.
i'd figure i'll give that a shot since it is 1/3 of the price compared to the dealer.
