Default is this normal?

Hi Guy I just bought an 2005 s2000 last week. I got a question about the key it only came with one key an no keyless remote. Not sure if the key I got was the original one. That is my question the key I got open the driver side door and start he car but some what it can't open from the passager door or the back truck. Was wondering if the owner before me change for some reason or did it came like that?

You might have the valet key, Take the car to the dealer and they can get you a new one.............For a price.

I would say $100+ and I think you will need proof of ownership as well.

I got a generic laser cut at the honda dealership, $25 I think? I mean you can get a uber duber fancy s2000 key, but the graphic wears off in a few years anyways.
Go to the honda dealership itself, I think its actually cheaper than a locksmith, and I bought an s2000 generic key off ebay, the chip won't work with the s2000, I keep as a last resort backup if I lost my 2 other keys cause the locksmith did a poor cut on the key, with some wiggling it opens the door and trunk.
