Default Kinetic Autosports - Sub Box

Ok, I exhausted my means of communication so I'm somewhat lost.

I placed/paid for a sub box on April 24 and paid quite a bit for it. Now, few weeks later nothing. I'm probably over-reacting but I'm one of those kids who has to get his toy from the bottom of the cereal box before... well... even leaving the supermarket.

I read that John's going through some marital issues and I give him my support and prayers that everything goes smoothly. However, there's still professionalism and customer service that needs to be taken into account. It would've been nice if I had gotten an e-mail with an updated ETA or something because running back home after working hoping to see a huge box is starting to feel like no presents on x-mas day.

I pondered building myself one and using the savings to buy a table saw, board of MDF, and rent a truck but I'm stuck cause I dont know if the box has been built, shipped, etc.

So in hopes of getting some sort of estimate, I'm wondering if anyone else ordered a sub box around the time I placed my order and recieved it yet? Those who do have it, was it worth the wait?

This may be totally off, but I think he has said as before he works on them in a per order row, usually taking 2-4 weeks.

I understand where you're coming from. I paid for my order 4-5 days after you approximately and I haven't gotten any updated info either. I agree that some degree of professionalism has to come into account right now, like even if he has to postpone our orders he should email us. I think we would all understand if that happened.

On our part, I think we also have to remember that this is NOT John's full-time job. I'm sure he has lots of commitments with his job, this side-job and of course his family affairs.

When you have something major like this in front of you, you tend to forget the little things. And in my opinion, this is very "little" right now. I'm sure all of us have ignored things for days or weeks, when faced with adversity.

I hear John's boxes are second to none, so I'm sure it'll be well worth the wait, even if it is a little longer than anticipated.

Just thought I would chime in.

Darkknight has been in regular contact with me for the past week or so, so he is getting stuff done. I just think that his personal issues are just demanding more of his off time (time normally spent building boxes).

I am sure he will chime in here in a bit...

Darknight1999 - Just get to my order when you can. If you cannot get them turned around soon, no biggie. I am leaving the 1st of june for 2 weeks, so really anytime between before I get back will be fine.

-John

John's a stand up guy. He will step up and get things straightened out. He always does. I shot him a question around midnight one time...and he answered me in about two minutes!

Thanks for the replies! I feel much better now. I want to stress that all I wanted was some feedback from others so as to calm myself down. I'm very obsessive/compulsive when I buy stuff. I usually opt for Next day air or buy from local distributors just so I can have it asap. Actually, I'm quite shocked that I could actually wait so long for a sub box. Patience is really not one of my virtues.

I've read all 11+ pages from the sub box GB thread and know I wont be dissapointed. It is a rareity to have someone who has this amount of inginuity and at the same time, shares it with the fellow enthusiast.

No need to stress!

As John stated before, he is unfortunately going through a divorce now, so he is tied up. He is more than a standup guy, and that is one person on this forum you dont need to worry about. Thanks for understanding. I can assure you that he will respond to you soon.

I just spoke with John via PM today, and suggested that he chime in on this thread. Things are still running, he assured me, but were a bit slow because of personal issues. Don't worry. Be Happy.
