On the way to work today I sprayed my windshield with washer fluid and my X50's laser detection went off. Weird coincidence?..... nope.... I tested it and now it happens every time I spray my windshield... weird. Only thing out of the ordinary that I have noticed is that my X50 did a self calibration for the first time a few months ago.




You can see the fluid hitting the windshield and the laser going off.

The upside is, easily scare the fiance

I've never had that happen with my V1, it only goes off for Chevy Trailblazer and GMC Envoy third brake lights!!!!

 

When my friend hits his horn in his Nissan Spec V the laser goes off. Mine never does though (we both have x50's).

 

My V1 goes off whenever a hot chick is in the car next to me (special upgrade I got from Mr. V himself).

Problem is now the HC alarm is soon followed by the backside of my wifes hand as I am rubber necking.

Honestly though - what the hell type of cleaning solution you have in there?

 

Just regular wiper fluid... when I take it to my dealer they top it off the fluids for me.

you think your's is weird? mine would only happen in my wife's Ody when it did a double downshift to 2nd...
