How do to DELL UltraSharp 2001FP and Samsung 172x compare to each other, other than size.? I dont know what most of the numbers under the specs part mean so if someone could explain the pros and cons of both that would be great. thanks

I think I saw a review of these two a month back in Maximum PC. They were the tops in the LCD market...great all around, even for gaming. I believe that the Dell actually got the nod in that review by a miniscule margin.

got it tonight, 0 dead pixels

So far it is ridiculous, the image is crystal clear. Much much better than my old monitor (came with a dell i bought 5 years ago). Its extremely bright, i just watched a episode of a tv show and the image was perfect. Definitely a great monitor. Its supposed to be for gaming, so tomorrow ill bust out some games and see. Ill put a more indepth review tomorrow as i try a few things. Oh yea, the set up was incredibly easy.
