Wanting to remain "legal" her in the great state of Maryland, I am opting to go amber for the turn signals and sidemarkers. The thread refer to a 7443-6 bulb. I can't seem to find that one.
Ok...for the sidemarkers and parking lights, you want these
WLED-6 LED bulb 194/168 type
Turn signals, just get amber regular bulbs, LEDs will cause you car to hyperblink. Youll need a resistor kit to make LEDs work in the turn signals.....(they sell it on the site as well, you need one for every bulb)
I have these in my JDM side markers and front running lights with naked cleared corners and and are the best that I have found so far. I tried the four and six LED foreward facing bulbs and they just dont do the job. These bulbs have one foreward facing led and four side facing leds and light up the whole area very well.
treedriver, you have any pictures of them on in your car? One of my parking lights burned and it looks like those would be a nice way to go. I have naked clear corners as well. Do you have amber?white?

I will take some pics for you tonight when it is dark
I used chrome/amber(not led) for turn and amber LED for the park/running light.

Here are the pics of my lights. The first shots are in full daylight, then at dusk, but still light enough to see, then full darkness.
Those pics are immensely helpful. Thanks. I think it confirms that that's what i'm looking for. I was not sure if I wanted amber or white but I think the amber will look fine. I was worried it might look too "stock" But i am more afraid the white will look too ricery. Anyways, now I just have to figure out how to get the damn things out. I breifly pulled the clips last night and tried to worm my hand back there and I could just reach the light but couldn't get a grip on it to turn it to get it out of the socket. Any tips? can you go in from above? ie, under the hood?
If you are working on the left side, turn the wheels to the left. remove the two fasteners at the fender "lip" and the two fasteners just below the headlight assembly, where the "grooves" are in inner fender. Use a small flat blade screwdriver to pop out the center of the fastener.Look close and you will see where to insert it and twist the screwdriver, to pop it out. Put your hand behind the fender liner and PUSH it out of the way.
The pic with the yellow outline shows the light socket you want. Give it a 1/4 turn counter clockwise, and then it will come out. Make sure you have the lights on when you install the LEDs because it will only light up one way.
ok, i was trying to turn the wheel to the inside of the fender well so I could only pull the lining down so far before i hit the wheel. I'm gonna go give it a shot doing it the other way. I should have thought of that... I gotta order some bulbs though! that needs to come first. I just want to make sure I can indeed get the damn things out. Thanks for the help and the pictures. great write up for bulb replacement. Perhaps it should go in an FAQ somewhere as I've noticed others wondering about parking light install.
well worked like a charm. good tips guys! The key is getting the fender to "pop" out of the more flexible part of the front bumper. that gives it all the play i needed. Checked out the bulb and it is indeed burned out so I'll put in an order for the new led bulbs pretty soon.
