Default LED Flasher in Third Break Light

Hi guys, I am thinking about to put a Flasher module on the third break light. So that way when I break, it will flash a couple times, which just like some euro cars.

I am thinking about to extend the connector? which the module will stay between wire harness and third break light. However, I have hard time to find another male and female connector to connect on both ends.

Just wondering is there other ways to do it? Or I have "cut" the wire harness and connect the module to it?
Anything would help,
Thanks

This is the module that I got:

I belive the pins can be pulled off of the connector to make installation a little easier. This seems like a good idea and should work great!

That's the module I have, I have it hooked up to my rear fog light. If you look in the trunk on the driver side you'll see the wiring that leads to the 3rd brake light and that's where I tapped into.

Let us know, I'm interested. These are small cars an anything to make them more visible is nice.

Spell check won't save you (happens to us all!). It's a brake light.

So basically wire it into the beginning of the harness?
Would you please send me a picture of what you did? Thanks

There is a company that makes a module. See www.pulseprotects.com. However, I'm not sure if you can DIY as it sounds like it might only be available through dealerships.
