LED High beam conversion
Have a 2002 AP1 s2000. I have converted most bulbs to LED's except for the HID Low Beams which are super bright. But the high beam halogen is not as good. I purchased a pair of H1 LED's which are super bright on testing. The problem is that the original OEM H1 bulbs fit into an adaptor which give enough thickness for the retaining spring to hold it place in the lens socket. The new H1 LED is thinner so that when placed into the lens opening, the retaining spring will not secure the flange to the lens socket. Anyone have a workaround or know of an adaptor that would work? Thanks.
Additionally has anyone just replaced the halogen H1 bulb with an an H1 direct plug in bulb into the original adaptor? Wondering if heat dissipation will be sufficient?
