Default EPS light on. Without power steering.

Good morning,
Excuse my poor english.

Since last summer my S2000 has been suffering problems on power steering.
You put the key, you engine started and when you moved the steering wheel, the EPS light on and it was left without power steering. Before, it was enough to take out the key and restart engine to solve itself, EPS light goes out and let you drive perfectly.

Since August 2018 I used the car very few times.
A few months ago I decided to charge the battery and EPS light didn't show up, so I enjoyed driving my car ... until a week ago ...
Now every time you start engine the EPS light on as soon as you move the steering wheel.

I have tried a new battery (with fewer amps) and it doesn't work.
My car mechanic has plugged in the computer and no fault appears. He has looked at the "alternator" (I don't know if this is the correct word, the device that charges the battery) and says he loads well.

What's going on?
Has the fact of not using the car broken something?

I hope you can help me.
Greetings.

Default EPS light

Sounds like you need to reset the power steering. Go on Goggle and check " removal of power steering on S2k". Check on the video at You Tube " Resetting the Power steering". I could write it all out but the vid is easier. Hope this helps.
