Default lightweight battery

so my battery on the MY01 is finally at the last of its years... i've done some searching and found that the optima battery saves about 15lbs. do they sell those at just autozone or pep boys or do i have to special order those? btw, any other lightweight battery options available?

Spoon and FEEL'S both have small lightweight batteries. I believe Hawker is brand I've heard mentioned before as well.

Hawker batteries work really well, I used a 10.8 pounder and never had a problem with it (factory stereo, summer only).

You can buy the Hawker battery in the S2Ki Marketplace. Big thumbs up--I've had one on my S for over two years and it's still cranking strong--even in the frigid CA winters!

I couldn't find it in the Marketplace either. I remember when I bought mine it was from a guy in Florida. I setup a group-buy on them and they came to $23 shipped each! I'll see if I can find that guy again.
