Thumbs up Little Help Please!

Okay, I'm typing fast, then I'll come in and fix up the grammar.

I bought some Polk DB 6.5" Coax for my AP2. (I was trying to save money by not buying components)
My cousin is selling me (if it works) his V12 MRV-F407 (4/3/2 Channel) May be broken...I'll try and find an amp to install in its stead.

I used existing speaker wire for speakers
I ran new speaker wire from deck (factory) to trunk and then spliced the LOC because I had no good quality RCA long enough.
We spliced new speaker wire to the old speaker wire and ran it to the amp.
Power wire run along passenger side door sill...all other wire is on the left side of the center armrest (for now).

Remote wire is hot only when radio is on, speakers worked fine off of HU power hours before amp install.

Is there a chance that I need to bypass a factory crossover that is still there? That honestly just occured to me.
Please no flames guys, I was trying to save time knowing that I may have to come in later to fix...all interior panels are still removed for this reason...I get a signal, it's just like there are frequencies not playing.

Thanks in advance for your help guys,
Barrett.

Well, with only the right speaker connected, I balanced all the way to the right and the sound cleared up quite nicely.

I balanced to the left, and got the same (good) results out of the right speaker.

I'll try and re-wire everything tonight.

Please give me some suggestions...!

I figured out what your problem was. It turns out your co-installer is partially color-blind and misconnected three out of four of the wires on the factory head unit. Besides that you should be fine.
